During times of extreme drought, every drop of water truly matters. By making small changes at home and in our daily routines, we can make a big difference together. Simple actions like fixing leaks, shortening indoor use, choosing drought‑tolerant landscaping, and being mindful of outdoor watering help protect our shared water supply and keep our community resilient.

The Town is currently in Phase I Water Restrictions 

Water Restriction Phases

 PHASE I - VOLUNTARY

• Reductions in overall indoor water use  
• Reductions in overall outdoor water use  
• Limit equipment washing (cars, ATVs, etc.) to once per week

PHASE II - MANDATORY

• Limit equipment washing (cars, ATVs, etc.) to once per week
• Pools and hot tubs may not be drained and refilled — topping off only
• A 20% surcharge applies to all Tier III users
• Adhere to outdoor irrigation schedule:
  Even numbered addresses - Wednesday, Friday & Sunday
  Odd numbered homes - Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday
  No watering on Monday
  No outdoor watering between 8 a.m & 6 p.m.

PHASE III - MANDATORY

• Voluntary reductions in indoor water use
• No topping off pools or hot tubs
• A 20% surcharge applies to all water tiers
• No outdoor watering permitted
• Use of potable/non‑potable water for construction purposes is prohibited

PHASE IV - MANDATORY

• All water use restricted to essential purposes only. Usage levels will be carefully monitored.

PENALTY ASSESSMENT FINES
*For violation of Phase II & Phase III

1. First offense: Warning
2. Second offense: Fifty dollar ($50) fine.
3. Third offense: One hundred dollars ($100) fine.
4. Subsequent offense: The municipal court may impose such fines and penalties as it is authorized pursuant to municipal code 13.01.070

Some large water users (schools, parks, HOA’s) may have established watering schedules that are different than residential.
