Dear valued contractors,
We wanted to let you know ahead of time that water tap, water dedication, and sewer tap fees will be increasing soon. Any permits requiring water or sewer services received on or after June 8, 2026, will see increased fees. Base tap rates per EQR(or ECU) are identified below:
Water Tap Fee now $8,000 increasing to $10,000

Incomplete permits submitted prior to June 8, 2026, will not be accepted and new rates will be charged. We wanted to give you a little lead time for those that are close to being submitted. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Whether you're remodeling, building a new home, proposing a development, or working on a commercial project, your steps will depend on the specifics of your project. In all cases, construction cannot begin until a building permit has been issued.
