Hardscrabble Recreational Area is accessible via Trailheads located off of Buckhorn Valley Blvd. and Spring Creek Road. Many of these trails connect to the Town of Eagle’s trail system and offer mixed use for bikers, hikers, motorcycles, equestrian, and even a dedicated ATV area. 

The Spring Creek Trailhead offers MOTORIZED ACCESS to the ATV Trails. The Buckhorn Valley Trailhead is for NON-MOTORIZED access only. 

IMPORTANT: To access the  Buckhorn Valley Trailhead you must pass through private property that is designated for future development of the Buckhorn Valley subdivision. In the meantime, the property owners are allowing NON-MOTORIZED, PERMITTED ACCESS to the Buckhorn Valley Trailhead along a path through the property. If you plan to use this path at anytime please fill out and submit the online BUCKHORN VALLEY TRAIL ACCESS WAIVER. Temporary parking for trail access is available at the end of Buckhorn Valley Blvd.
