The application from Buckhorn Valley Phase 9 proposes the development of 25 lot-home packages along Blackhawk Road. Their plans include connecting Blackhawk Road and Comanche Way, as well as a newly constructed trail head for community access to BLM land to the south of the development. 

The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing to review the application on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025, and Town Council will hold a public hearing to review the application on Tuesday, October 14th, 2025. The public hearings will be held at 7 PM (MST) or soon thereafter, as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chambers at 50 Lundgren Boulevard.

We will be holding these meetings in person and viewable through the Town’s website. To provide public comment, you may attend the meeting in person or provide comment to James Wooldridge by Monday, September 22nd, 2025 at 9 AM (MST) for the Planning and Zoning Commission and Monday, October 6th, 2025 at 9 AM (MST) for Town Council.
