Project Status: Under construction - Phase III is underway. Final paving and striping is anticipated at the end of September with punch list and landscaping in early October.

Project Description: The Town is constructing a new roundabout at the intersection of Valley Road and Highway 6. Additionally, Highway 6 is being reconstructed from Valley Road to the recently completed Schoolside Street roundabout.
As part of the project, the traffic signal at Oakridge Drive (the entrance to Eagle Valley High School) will be removed and replaced with a ¾-movement intersection. Oakridge Court will also be extended as a new through street, connecting the Post Office to Estes Lane.
Other improvements include new sidewalks, flashing beacons at crosswalks, upgraded drainage structures, enhanced roadway lighting, and improvements to the pedestrian underpass beneath Highway 6 near Eagle Valley High School.
Construction began in May 2025 and is expected to be completed by the end of October 2025. Hwy 6 will remain open though the duration of the project but access to roads on the north and south side of the intersection will be limited at times and there will be changes in traffic patterns through intersection. Due to lane shifts and turn lane closures, drivers must stay alert and follow all signs & flaggers in the work zone.
As of August 16 the intersection is open with a functioning roundabout but the project is not complete. Further construction is necessary and the project is anticipated to be comlplete by October 2025.
